Expedition Overview
The 2025 Everest Base Camp Expedition Team will explore the Khumbu Valley in Nepal’s Sagarmatha National Park. Graced with the highest peaks in the world and a beautiful culture, the Khumbu Valley is an epic journey with stunning landscape and wonderful people.
Among the highlights are Everest Base Camp, the summit of Kalla Patthar, and visits to remote monasteries and cultural sites. This is a hybrid expedition that also offers options for trekkers to cross the Kongma La Pass and climb to the summit of Chukhung Ri (non-technical). Experienced climbers are invited to join us on Imja Tse (technical-intermediate) and Ama Dablam (technical-advanced).

Everest Base Camp, Kongma La Pass and Chukhung Ri (non-technical) - Experience the grace of the world’s highest mountains towering above 8,000m! Members will also benefit from a close cultural experience with the many Sherpa communities we’ll visit. Everest Base Camp (EBC) trekkers will be on the trail between 4-6 hours each day over moderately steep terrain.The trail is well traveled by the Sherpa that live in the Khumbu Valley, passing by the many tea houses and monasteries where we break and have rest days. The pace will be leisurely to enjoy the people and our surroundings. You will be required to carry a small backpack weighing 17-22 lbs. containing personal items you need throughout the day. Trekkers interested in Kongma La Pass and Chukhung Ri will enjoy a remote experience to one of the areas highest passes followed by beautiful views from Chukhung Ri, a non-technical summit.

This is a supported climbing and trekking expedition planned by S2 Mountain Adventures with an individual cost of $4,475
